Charity graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in 2003, and her first projects with Smokey John’s involved writing and editing the restaurant’s marketing materials. Today, she enjoys using her background in marketing, education, training, and communications to lead initiatives that challenge norms, prompt change and enhance culture. Her efforts help ensure the business has a solid foundation to build on as it grows. At the heart of it all, Charity aims to foster a nurturing environment where team members feel valued and seen.
With over 20 years of experience in the food service industry, Brent is heavily involved in Smokey John’s daily business operations. His interest in food service began when he was a kid—he loved being around people and food while spending time at the restaurant with his father. Brent graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel and Restaurant Management in 1999 and immediately joined the family business. Today, he develops growth strategies for Smokey’s. Brent focuses on expanding the brand in order to create opportunities for his family, for people looking to develop their skills, and for those who simply need a second chance.
Juan first worked in the family restaurant the summer before fourth grade and has been in and around the food service industry for most of his life. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Communication in 1993, he pursued a career in sports marketing and media. For over ten years now, he’s brought his talents to Smokey’s, helping build the brand into a thriving restaurant, catering and concessions company.
